Assalaamu Alaykum Sisters
So we’ve been venue hunting over the past few weekends- WOW! I feel tired and a little giddy. We have nailed ti down to three. So in no particular order…. drum roll please 1. The Vibe Hotel 2. The Arundel Hills Country Club 3. Palazzo Versace! Ok I know they are all totally different and well it’s pretty exciting because we think that they are all awesome- althought they all have their pros and cons. Once we get all the finer details worked out- hopefull before the weekend we’ll get our next poll up and running- The venue poll! and then you can pick the venue. Can’t wait to see which one it will be.
Have a fabulous week

Black and White Theme
April 19, 2010
Assalaamu Alaykum,
So the black and white theme is rather self explainatory. Everything will be decorated in black and white. All the stationary, advertising, tables, chairs, centre pieces, everything will be black and white if this theme is choosen. Also we would also suggest that everyone wears black and white to the ball.
Masquerade Theme
April 14, 2010
Salaams all,
ok had some awesome feedback about the masquerade theme on facebook. So a little more about this theme- everyone of course wears a mask. We are thinking of having mimers also in masks interacting with people as they arrive. The decor would be very up market we are thinking deep red and gold as possible colour schemes. Roses too would be a nice touch- although cost would be a big factor here. Candles would also play a prominent part. We had also thought about having an area where people can make masks if they want. All in all a very elegant theme.
Circus Theme Continued
April 13, 2010
Just a quick note, the circus theme does not require a circus costume (unless you absolutely desire to dress like a clown). Beautiful gowns are however required.
